The APG India stall at GEO India 2018 currently underway at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, has been attracting a lot of attention from the sizeable congregation that has gathered for the 4th South Asian Geosciences Conference and Exhibition. Being the organizers of the Conference, there has simply been no let-up to the number of visitors thronging the stall to know more about the vibrant association and to explore possibilities to be a part of it.
The 18 square metres stall, with flex printed posters of various sizes, showcasing the activities and other aspects of APG India, coupled with enthralling videos of APG workshops to Leh-Ladakh, Vindhyans, Jaisalmer, Spiti valley, etc. and with its tables adorned by its various publications, brochures and memorabilia, kept the visitors gainfully engaged during their visits to the stall. Mr. Rajesh Sharma, DGM in charge of the stall, expressed deep satisfaction at the response which he described as “overwhelming”.
The steady influx of students throughout the day clearly demonstrated their interest in the geological sciences and current advances and industry trends in the subject and thus augers well for the future.
