GeoIndia 2024 will take place from 14th – 17th November at IEML in Greater Noida, with a theme “Exploring new dimensions of Energy dynamics”.

GeoIndia 2024 – A hub for future technologies, innovation in geosciences to meet our changing dynamics of energy demand. This sixth edition will offer a comprehensive platform for domestic and overseas service provider, innovators, academicians and our future generation geoscientist to discuss geoscience and its role in finding solutions together.

GeoIndia 2024, is designed to focus on all aspects related to petroleum geosciences and E&P thus providing a unique forum for geoscience professionals, business groups and stakeholders to discuss and comprehend the wide spectrum of issues related to India's energy future.

The GeoIndia 2024 is in its sixth edition attracts close to 2000 visitors and 50 energy giants covering NoC, IoC and private players. With twenty four energy filled transformative technical sessions, covering around 200 technical paper, 9 student programs and two geological excursionsalong with 15-20 short term educational courses.

Submission Instruction

GEOINDIA invites the technical papers that are new and original material in a range of multi-disciplinary topics in Geoscience and allied field. We consider plagiarism very seriously and hence presume that you are in sync with us. Therefore, as a rule during our technical paper evaluation, extended abstract will be rejected on the basis of plagiarism. You as an author will not be able to see status of your paper henceforth, heence submit your extended abstract after plag check.

At GEOINDIA we follow certain guidelines for preparation of your exttended abstract so that during publication of eBook each paperr will maintain consistency, hence use template provided herewith.

Titles should be short (max 16 words, longer titles will be truncated) and relevant. Extended abstracts must be in English, original and not have appeared in any other publication.

The body of the extended abstract needs to be four (4) full pages in length, paper size A4, one revision will be permitted if the extended abstract is found longer. The extended abstract should consist of text and appropriate figures and carry essential information viz. purpose, methods, results and conclusions.

Registeration will be required on out portal before any extended abstract is submitted to be presented at GEOINDIA 2024. Authors/co-authors may submit maximum three (3) abstracts using their account.

The submission deadline for Abstracts Submission is 30 September 2024, 23:59 IST. The portal will close automatically after this deadline.

Association of Petroleum Geologist deploys Extended Abstract Evaluation Committee having domain expertise in subject matter considered in GEOINDIA 2024. The evaluation is continual process and all extended abstract submitted via the portal by the submission deadline of 30 Septemberr 2024, 23:59 IST will be considered. After reviewing and selecting the abstracts the oral and poster sessions will be composed. Registered Author will be informed if their paper is accepted or rejected via email.

Authors are hence required to select the topic under which their extended abstract should be evaluated by the review committee.

Association of Petroleum Geologist is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT organisation and we do support students as grant for presentation of technical papers. We cover your complete expenses if university/institute does not provide financial support. You require to submit your extended abstract and then submit request to us for grant. The extended abstract will undergo routine evaluation process and grant intimation will be communicated to you consequent upon selection

The accepted extended abstracts are published online on our website and also disctribute it electonically. We request authors to check the abstract, title, author(s) name and affiliation before last submission date. Content changes will be permitted after abstract have been reviewed and accepted for presentation.
