< GeoIndia 2018, the 4th South Asian Geosciences Conference & Exhibition - 6th – 8th September 2018

About the Exhibition

Started in 2008, the GEO India exhibition is currently the largest showcase of oil and gas exploration technology and services in India, which attracts NOCs, IOCs, major E&P companies and new oil and gas related businesses looking to penetrate and influence the lucrative South Asian market.

The exhibition spectrum covers all aspects of petroleum geosciences, from concept to commercialisation, and has featured more than 70 exhibiting companies from 20 plus countries in a single conference.  Previous high profile exhibitors include the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Oil India Limited (OIL), the Indian Government’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker-Hughes, Fugro, Cairn, Wavefield, CGG, etc. together with a number of specialist suppliers, distributors and numerous new entries to the Indian market.

Why exhibit?

The current government’s thrust on reducing the country’s dependency on foreign imports, which currently account for nearly 70% of its energy needs, is fuelling the increasing number of E&P projects which are either underway or planned to increase domestic oil and gas production in India. This proactive thrust to realise the government’s objectives by uncovering the country’s full hydrocarbon potential, has thrown open a host of technical and business challenges – and an equally extensive set of opportunities.

The exhibition platform at GEO India 2018 provides ideal networking and business opportunities for all sections of stakeholders in the global petroleum industry to initiate/ expand operations in this rapidly expanding domain of India’s alluring business market.
